Effective Sunday, August 26, 2001, for trade date August 27, 2001, the commodity code (clearing code) for IPC Stock Index Futures will change from MX to I1 (eye-one).

Effective Sunday, September 2, 2001, for trade date September 4, 2001, the ticker symbol for IPC Stock Index Futures and Options will change from MX to I1 (eye-one). The commodity codes for IPC Stock Index Options will not be affected by the change and will remain OX.

To facilitate trading in the soon-to-be-launched Mixed Xylenes Futures contract, the ticker/commodity code of MX has been reassigned to Mixed Xylenes, necessitating the change to the IPC Stock Index Futures contract. There has not been any trading activity in the IPC Stock Index Futures product since 1997.
